Dear St. John’s Family,
I’m writing to inform you that beloved friend and former parishioner, Shirley Plaxa Cannon, died last evening surrounded by her loved ones. Shirley put up a courageous battle against brain cancer and her perseverance and courage is nothing short of inspiring. A Service of her Life and Ministry will take place in her home parish in South Carolina at a later date. Please keep Phyllis and Michael Gbur, Peter Plaxa, and the entire family in your prayers in the coming days and weeks
May her soul and the souls of all the departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
