Eagle’s Nest After-School Program
St. John’s volunteers mentor 4th and 5th graders from Robert Fulton School in the areas of respect and responsibility while providing enrichment and academic support. The program meets on Wednesday afternoons during the school year. Since 2002, this program has provided some stability to the students at the school, with nearly all participants completing the two-year program.
Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration
With a community concert on Sunday afternoon, and a theme-focused day camp for elementary school children on Monday, the lessons of Dr. King are illuminated. Volunteers are needed for all aspects of this celebratory weekend.
Robert Fulton School Partnership
Support is given to the school staff and families as needed. A staff meeting is hosted in August, a parent night meeting with dinner is hosted in the fall, tutoring is offered, school uniforms and winter clothing provided, and fund raisers supported.
