MLK Treasure Walk at St. John’s Episcopal Church

Hello Friends,

Saint John’s Episcopal Church, 321 W. Chestnut Street, Lancaster, will celebrate Dr. Martin Luther King Jr’s birthday with an outdoor MLK Treasure Walk. The free, self-guided walk honors and celebrates the life and legacy of Dr. King with interactive, educational and reflective stations.  The MLK Treasure Walk will be open to the public during daylight hours on Saturday, January 16 through Monday, January 18, 2021. Activities at each station encourage participants to learn more about the civil rights movement and consider their role in developing a more equitable and peaceful society.  Participants should wear masks and maintain social distancing. Look for the first station at the base of the stairs into the glass atrium on West Chestnut St, just before the corner at Mulberry St. For more information, please contact Sue Dodge.
