Honoring Aaron Spicher on Sunday, July 10

All are invited to offer a tribute of thanksgiving for our St. John’s Verger, Aaron Spicher, on Sunday, July 10. Given the many lives Aaron touched, we will have a special time to share stories and remembrances during Coffee Hour (between the two services) from 9-10 a.m. in the Parish Hall. If you have any photographs of Aaron you’d like to share, there will also be picture table with a foam board for posting.

 

For many years Aaron volunteered as the distributor for our food pantry’s Door Ministry, and generally served as the St. John’s ambassador to those living on the margins of our community. In his honor, we will collect canned goods for the pantry. Here are some items that are especially needed: peanut butter, pasta noodles, pasta sauce, canned tuna, canned meat, boxed macaroni & cheese, “Helpers” (chicken, tuna, etc.), rice, boxed rice mixes, canned soup, canned vegetables, canned fruit, and cereal.
