St. John’s All-Parish Retreat, Wonderfully Made: Renewal for Mind, Body and Soul, will take place Saturday, Feb. 22 from 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m. at at the spiritual center at St. Thomas Episcopal Church, Lancaster. Adults and children will explore the relationship between our spiritual and physical selves through dynamic programming, including a keynote presentation by St. John’s own Mary Woolson, a certified health coach who practices healing touch.
Other offerings include workshops on reiki, contemplative spirituality, vision boards, self portraits, fitness for seniors, and a winter labyrinth walk. See February’s Messenger for complete details.
Nursery care will be available for children under age 5. School-aged children will be invited to participate in a program of stories, crafts and fun activities during Mary’s sessions, and will join the larger group for worship, lunch and afternoon breakout sessions.
Tickets ($15/person, 16 and under free; financial assistance available) are available in the Parish Hall between services, and include a catered lunch by Isaac’s. St. John’s famous tomato soup will be provided. Please consider bringing a healthy breakfast offering and healthy dessert for lunch.
