A message from Pastor Amanda:
Dear St. John’s,
All Saints’ Sunday is one of my favorite feast days of the year as we remember the great cloud of witnesses who surround us. This year All Saints’ Sunday will be cause for even more celebration. On Sunday, November 3, we will gather together as a community of faith to give thanks for the lives and witnesses of the saints, we will break bread with one another at the altar and at a brunch provided by the vestry, and we will participate in the future of our parish in our annual meeting.
I can’t think of a better time to meet as a parish family than on the day we remember and celebrate the inheritance we’ve been given by the saints of yesterday.
Please mark your calendars for this incredible day and join us for our JOINT WORSHIP SERVICE at 9:00 a.m. (And don’t forget, Daylight Saving time ends Nov. 3. “Fall back” one hour to be on time for the service!)
I remain faithfully yours,
Amanda+
