St. John’s will host The Pennsylvania Council of Churches program, Faithful Advocacy for Reducing Gun Violence: Principles and Practices, Saturday, Nov. 2, 9 a.m.-noon in the Parish Hall.
The program is designed to educate people of faith about what they can do to become advocates for gun safety in their communities. Participants will walk away with an understanding of the scope of gun violence, both nationally and in PA, as well as effective advocacy tools that they can use to promote legislation that will mitigate this violence.
All are invited to join the conversation. Register here: http://bit.ly/2B80TQ9
