Greetings St. John’s ,
Over the past several months, Doug and I have been in conversation with the Choir of Christ’s College, Cambridge (UK) about their upcoming tour and possibilities for hosting a concert here at St. John’s. The stars have aligned and a concert has been scheduled here for Friday evening, July 8th.
The choir consists of 26 people (24 singers and an organist and director). We are looking for hosts that can accommodate members of the group. We did something similar to this is 2019 when the Boys French Choir performed. They are looking for the following accommodations:
- Thursday, July 7th – arriving late in the evening (around 10pm) – hosts would collect the group from the church and bring them back the next day for rehearsal and some time off.
- Friday, July 8th – After the afternoon rehearsal they would break for dinner before the 7pm concert. We would provide dinner. After the concert, the hosts would take them home and bring them back the morning of the 9th to meet the bus.
Please let me know if you are able/interested in hosting any of the participants and how many/what room configurations you have.
