Holy Eucharist with the imposition of ashes will be observed at St. John’s at 7 a.m. and 12 p.m.
The four city parishes of the Lancaster Convocation — St. John’s, St. James’, St. Thomas’ and St. Edward’s — will observe Ash Wednesday with Holy Eucharist and the imposition of ashes at St. Edward’s Church, 2453 Harrisburg Pike, Lancaster, at 7 p.m. Music will be provided by the combined choirs of the four parishes. The Rev. Regina Barrett, newly ordained priest and assistant at St. Thomas’, will offer the sermon.
