Mark your calendar for Saturday, Nov. 2. In celebration of our 25th anniversary as a Jubilee Ministry Center, St. John’s will hold our second annual “On Being Episcopalian” conference entitled “Celebrating and Exploring the Scriptural Call to Jubilee,” from 1-5 p.m. in the Parish Hall. All are invited.
Rector Emeritus The Rev. Canon Peter A. Greenfield will share stories of St. John’s journey toward becoming a Jubilee Ministry Center. Professor Greg Carey from Lancaster Theological Seminary will help participants delve deeper into scripture to invigorate all to continue, or begin, the journey. Diocesan Jubilee Officer, Deacon Jane Miron, will discuss how to become a Jubilee Ministry Center.
