As many families have, my family has experienced the loss of a loved one to suicide. An event taking place in Lancaster this month, will bring suicide and the impact on our community to the forefront, and help lift a stigma which can so isolate pending victims and those left behind.
Passing along information on the 5K Walk/Run for Suicide Awareness and Prevention allows me to point to solidarity… from which comes encouragement … central to standing/walking/running together to support the recently formed Lancaster County Suicide Prevention Coalition.
