Annual Parish Meeting reminder

This Sunday, Nov. 10, we will gather from 9:15 to 10:00 a.m. in the Parish Hall to elect new members to the vestry and to hear four important reports: 2013 Financial Report, Stewardship Report, 2014 Budget Report and the Courtyard Committee Report. Click here for more details.

Sunday School fall food drive underway

All are invited to join St. John’s Sunday School students in their Fall Food Bank Drive. Any non-perishable items will go a long way to help families who rely on our help. Some suggestions: Nov. 10-peanut butter & jelly; Nov. 17-Helpers, pasta sauce, soup; Nov.24-cereal, canned vegetables; Dec. 1-your choice! Monetary donations are also welcome.

Safeguarding God’s Children, Sat., Nov. 16

Walking the walk

Tomorrow, Sunday Oct. 20, a team from St. John’s will participate in Lancaster’s annual Crop Walk, kicking off from Clipper Magazine Stadium at 12:45 p.m. It’s not too late to get involved as a walker or supporter.  Envelopes will be available in each pew and can be placed in the offering plate. Food pantry in need

Yesterday our food pantry ran out of several items we normally include in food packages. We were unable to serve all who came to our door. Could you help by supplying canned vegetables, pork & beans, canned soup, tuna or cereal? In addition, there is always need for peanut butter.
