St. John’s will once again have a parish garden. A garden was faithfully maintained by the Martins for many years and this year it returns, but to a different location – at the home of Doug Brown and Angela Cuthbert in Strasburg. The produce grown will supplement our food pantry, be distributed at Community Breakfast, used at St. John’s functions, and donated to the Lancaster County Council of Churches.
The garden is tilled and ready for volunteers as soon as the weather warms. Interested in helping? Contact Doug (717-288-2289), or Debbie Carter. No experience necessary and all tools will be provided. Watch for April’s Messenger to learn more.
