Baltimore and Baseball by Kendall Morgan
When I went on the bus trip down to Baltimore, it was an amazing experience! The bus got to Baltimore around 10:30 a.m. and the game didn’t start until 4:00 p.m. so that meant we, my dad and I, had five and a half hours to tour Baltimore.
After we got off the bus and figured out where we were going to meet everyone, we immediately went shopping! We browsed shops for a while and just enjoyed the sights in Baltimore. An hour later, we took a water taxi to Fell’s Point. We met up with other St. John’s families who came on the bus trip there and ate lunch together. After a while of spending time with friends, we went to the Orioles stadium where we met up with other people who took the bus to the stadium.
It was a perfect night; everyone was talking and getting to know each other better and, of course, watching a great baseball game. When we got back on the bus to go home, we all felt very blessed to have our bus driver Bob, mainly because almost everyone went to sleep right away. Overall, the entire bus trip was a great way to spend time with family and friends and watch some baseball.
