For a great start to the school year, we’ll have a blessing of the backpacks on Sunday, August 18, at our 10:15 AM service.
And as part of our partnership with Robert Fulton Elementary School, we’re collecting school supplies for teachers to choose during their back-to-school luncheon the following week.
Take advantage of local stores’ great back-to-school sales! Here are some suggested items:
- Crayons
- Markers
- Glue sticks
- Tissues
- Pencils (good quality)
- Colored pencils
- Spiral notebooks
- Clorox wipes
- Backpacks with non-violent themes, (especially small backpacks)
- Scissors (small), a few large ones for teachers
- Pencil sharpeners
- Lined paper (three hole okay)
