Dear St. John’s family,
Mr. C. Richard Farmer, senior member of St. John’s Church, departed this life quietly in his sleep on Wednesday, February 7, 2018 with his family at his side. He and his wife, Mary Suzanne, were active members of the parish and celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary on January 10th. A life-long resident of Lancaster and active in many local organizations, he was a member of St. John’s Vestry.
We will celebrate Richard’s life and ministry with a service of Burial and Holy Eucharist: Rite I at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 13, 2018. A visitation will be held on Monday, February 12, 2018, at DeBord Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory, 141 East Orange Street, Lancaster, PA from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
Gifts in Richard’s memory may be directed to St. John’s Episcopal Church or to Hospice and Community Care.
Let us remember Richard with great thanksgiving and hold Mary Suzanne and the Farmer family in our prayers.
