The St. John’s Episcopal Church Choir invites you to share in the traditional and reflective service of Evensong this Sunday, Jan. 31 at 4 p.m. in the church.
The canticles will be by Ralph Vaughan Williams, preces and responses will be The Appleby Responses, and the anthem will be “There Shall A Star Come Out of Jacob” by Felix Mendelssohn.
This fully choral Evensong will be a first for our choir in recent memory, after a crash course in Evensong with St. Martin-in-the-Fields this past spring. We hope it will become a regular and valued part of our worship here at St. John’s.
