Dear St. John’s family,
Paul Merker, one of our homebound parishioners for many years, departed this life on Thursday, March 5 at the age of 75. A Lancaster resident and member of St. John’s for almost 50 years, Paul was affectionately referred to by his neighbors as “The Mayor of Madison Street.”
We will celebrate Paul’s life and ministry with a memorial Eucharist at St. John’s on this coming Saturday, March 21, at 1:00 p.m. Visitation with the family in the Parish Hall will follow the service.
