Dear St. John’s family,
This past week we lost one of the sweetest members of our parish family. On Wednesday, Feb. 10, Mary Jane Pecora, mother of Doreen Heider, departed this life surrounded by the love of her family. For the past seven months Mary Jane had lived under the care of Doreen and Mike.
A remembrance of Mary Jane’s life will be held at the Groff Family Funeral Home, 528 W. Orange St., on Friday, Feb. 19. Visitation with the family will be at 1 p.m. with the service to follow at 2 p.m.
Please remember Mary Jane in your prayers as we lift up Doreen and the Heider family.

February 16, 2016 at 7:01 amI remember Mary Jane well. She was a very sweet person. I am happy that her children and especially her grandchildren have had the opportunity to have known her for as long as they did! Mary Jane was the perfect example of what St. John’s stood for.
