Dear St. John’s family,
It is my sad duty to report to you that his past Sunday, Nancy Eckenrode, one of our stalwart but homebound parishioners departed this life. Nancy had been fighting cancer courageously these past years. Yet in the face of suffering she always had a smile. Part of that was her bright constitution. Part was the grace of God. And by God’s grace her final leaving was sudden and without a painful demise.
We will celebrate Nancy’s life and ministry this Friday, February 20 at St. John’s. Visitation with the family will be in the Parish Hall from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. with the service immediately to follow in the church.
Please remember Nancy and her family in your prayers. Rest eternal grant to her, and may light perpetual shine up her.
