In late April, volunteers were hard at work at St. John’s Parish Garden in Strasburg (see photos). According to Doug Brown, on whose property the garden is located, “We picked a lot of rocks, planted oodles of potatoes, expanded the fencing, and picked weeds.”
Doug anticipates the weeds will be growing quickly, and is seeking volunteers to help tend the garden on Saturday mornings and Tuesday evenings, beginning May 10.
