This Weekend at St. John’s

It’s a busy weekend at St. John’s! A few reminders:

Saturday, Oct. 26

The Voyagers welcome back The Rev. Mark Scheneman, Priest-in-Charge of Bangor Church, who will present a program on the culture, history, and theology of the Celtic people. All are invited to join this lively gathering in the Parish Hall from 10-11:30 a.m.

Sunday, Oct. 27

All Souls’ Sunday: Names of the Dead will be read during during the Prayers of the People at the 8 and 10:15 a.m. services.

Sunday School for pre-school through senior high youth at 9:30 a.m.–this week and every week!

Adult Education from 9:15-10 a.m. in the back of the Parish Hall. Discussion continues on the Rachel Held Evans book INSPIRED. Led by Pastor Amanda, the group is engaging stories of our salvation in new and meaningful ways. Grab a cup of coffee and stop by!

Evensong for All Souls at 4 p.m. in the sanctuary, featuring guest recitalist Mark Shockey, pianist. A reception will follow.

Ladies’ Night at 6 p.m. at Annie Bailey’s, 28 E. King St., Lancaster. Ladies of all ages are welcome for a night of fun and socialization. RSVP to Mary Ellen Kilp: mekilp@yahoo.com
