Dear St. John’s Church family,
On Monday of this week Virginia Rainey at the age of 99 departed this life in peace. She had been experiencing some heart-related issues this past month, but otherwise she enjoyed full quality of life and sharpness of mind.
We will celebrate her life with great thanksgiving at St. John’s on Monday, February 27 with a service of Burial and Holy Eucharist at 11:00 a.m. Visitation with her family will be at 10:00 a.m. in the Chapel, and a reception in the Parish Hall will follow the service.
Please join me in prayerfully remembering the life of Virginia and asking God’s comfort for her family in their tine of loss.
Rest eternal grant to her, O Lord. And my light perpetual shine upon her.
