As you probably know, Fr. John Morris will be leaving St. John’s parish on February 28th, after having served us as Rector for over a decade.
On Friday, February 23rd, for the first event in a weekend of celebrations, we will be having a family-friendly, casual send-off for Father John and Cindy. We will be providing pizza, salad and drinks. You are welcome to bring a snack or dessert to share if you like. After dinner, the children will be performing a song for Father John. Then they will have time to roast/tell stories/memories. After that, we will be presenting him with a handmade gift from the children & youth. If time permits, we might play some games together – feel free to bring a game if you like. We will begin @6pm and expect to be done by 8:30. Everyone is invited to join us!

In recognition of his service, the parish will give Fr. John & Cindy a purse (a collection of monetary contributions) at their farewell celebration during the weekend of February 23 – 25.
